A FINE original vintage General Post Office (GPO) poster from around 1960 featuring a landscape by the artist Anthony Rossiter and the slogan 'Please use your correct address'.

Background  Bassenthwaite village and lake are in Allerdale in the northern part of the English Lake District. The county of Cumberland identified in the address is now in Cumbria. Anthony Rossiter (1926 - 2000) was an english landscape artist known for his expressionist style.
