A SUMPTUOUS original vintage poster for French railways from the 1920s or early 1930s showing the small spa town of Eaux Bonnes ('beautiful waters') in its valley in the Pyrenees, southern France. The artist is E. Paul Champseix.

The poster promoted the 'Route of the Pyrenees' lines operated by the Chemins de Fer du Midi company. It must have been issued before 1934, when the company merged with another and changed its name. Champseix is among the best known of French railway poster artists, admired for his bold use of colour.
