Through his work the cartographer and artist Max Gill, as he was known, helped relaunch the London Underground as a popular mode of transport. This map, with London at the centre of a spider's web of routes, shows the same style, ingenuity and wit as the more famous 1914 map, all within a frame of verse about getting out of London. This reprint is by John Bartholomew and Son of Edinburgh with London Transport.
