Background
The photograph was taken by Guy Ventouillac, apparently from near the road that rises steeply above Monaco towards the village of La Turbie. To the right of the harbour is the old town and the Grimaldi royal palace, and stretching away to the left are Cap Martin in France and then the Italian coast beyond. The poster was published by the Monaco tourist board and printed by Draeger of Paris.
