No photographer or printer is credited for this poster of 'Australia's Sunniest Capital' issued by the Western Australian Tourism Development Authority. Council House, seat of the city government, was opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1963 and became an emblem of Perth's modernity. Beyond is the T & G insurance company building, then the city's tallest.
