A FINE original vintage poster of the 2,000-year-old Roman aqueduct, the Pont du Gard, near the city of Nîmes in the south of France. 

Size 99cm x 62cm. 

Condition  Minor wear at left margin but otherwise good. the image is very clear and the colours bright. If you would like to know more please get in touch.

Background  This spectacular structure, standing nearly 50m high in the centre and spanning the Gardon river, once carried water towards Nîmes but also served for centuries as a road bridge. Today it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
