Background
This is one of a series of general British travel posters said to have been issued to coincide with the 1948 Olympic Games in London. The date may be borne out by the car on the right, which appears to be a Rover P3, a model that came on the market early in that year. Hepple was a distinguished artist best known as a portraitist. The poster was issued by the Travel Association of Great Britain and printed by W.S. Cowell.
