Background
Gunn was a noted portraitist and landscape artist whose works include the 1953 coronation portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The work here is ‘Gwen in bed’, a study of his first wife, Gwendoline Thorne. The poster was designed by Suslak Publicity and printed by Inglis Allen, Kirkcaldy.
