The Blue Mosque, also known as the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, was built in the early years of the 17th century and is famous for its great scale, its six minarets and (seen here) its fabulous tiling. The poster, which is not dated, was published by the Turkish Ministry of Press, Broadcasting and Tourism. The photographer was S. Karamani and the printer was Dogan Kardes of Istanbul.
