A striking original vintage poster, probably from the late 1950s, offering a satellite's-eye view of the west of Scotland from Cambeltown and Girvan in the south to Cape Wrath and Stornoway in the north, and showing the routes of railways, ferries and 'motor coaches'.

Background This poster carries no identifying markings besides the word 'Scotland' and the artist's signature at bottom right. It is a variation of a poster created by Nicolson for British Railways in 1955 which showed only the southern half of the image and was billed: 'The Clyde Coast and Loch Lomond'.
