A RARE original vintage poster from 1955 issued by French State Railways (SNCF) and featuring a painting of the Corsican village of Nonza by the artist Arthur Fagès (1902-1984).

Background
Fagès was a respected artist from Toulouse, a number of whose works were used in travel posters. This scene shows Nonza in its rugged setting in northern Corsica, with the castle or 'Tour Paoline' above it. The printer is Éditions Hubert Baille et Cie, Paris.
