The view is southward, with the domed cathedral in the centre. The Bassins de la Joliette dock is in the foreground; ferries leave here for Corsica, Italy, Spain and North Africa. Beyond the cathedral is the Old Port (Vieux Port), and on the hilltop above is the Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde. In the distance is the Massif des Calanques. The printer is E. Desfossés Néogravures of Paris and the publisher is the French government. The poster is undated, but the design and style suggest the late 1950s.
