An original vintage poster of the French Alps showing the majestic Grand Pic de La Meije (3,983 metres) bathed in sunshine and in the foreground the cablecars that whisk skiers and other visitors from a height of 1,450 metres to 3,200 metres, overlooking the Girose Glacier. The poster is undated but was probably issued in the late 1970s, soon after the cablecar route opened.
